Dinner Entertainment will be provided by the Governor General’s Foot Guards, the Cameron Highlanders’ Pipes and Drums, and the RCMP Highland Dancers.
We will also celebrate 10 Army Leaders of Tomorrow, and the following 6 Award Recipients: Recruiter of the year (Pte/Sgt); Soldier of the Year (Pte/Cpl); Junior Leader of the Year (MCpl/Junior Sgt); Junior Officer of the Year (SLt/Lt/Junior Capt); CA Civilian Employee of the Year; and Canadian Ranger of the Year.
Dancing music will be available after the dinner service and corresponding entertainment and recognition. After-dinner dancing music will be provided by Centerstage.
The 2026 Army Ball will be held Saturday April 18, 2026. Cocktails at 5:45 p.m., Dinner at 7 p.m. and Dancing at 10 p.m.

The Army Ball is open to serving and retired Canadian military personnel (officers and non-commissioned members), corporate partners who serve and support the Army, invited members of the foreign armed forces, police services and diplomatic corps, and public servants working for DND. A member may bring one guest.
Tickets are $175 + tax each. Couple tickets are no longer available.
Tickets include a four-course gourmet meal, red and white wine at your table, a commemorative Army Ball coin, one complimentary drink, and access to both a digital photo booth and artists for hand-drawn caricatures.
VVIPs and VIPs are contacted via email and are given a link to purchase 2 tickets prior to 16 February.

Yes. Some members of the Honorary Colonel Council receive the opportunity to purchase VIP tickets. All other individuals holding honorary appointments can purchase regular tickets starting at 1000 on 16 Feb 2026.
We do not accept additional ticket requests for family/friends of serving Army personnel. You may make more than one purchase but one individual per every two attending must qualify themselves for attendance. See “Who can attend the Ball?” above.
Yes. When purchasing your tickets on-line, you may indicate with whom you wish to sit, and effort will be made to accommodate your request. Tables are in rounds of ten. If you provide ten names, they will be seated together, providing all persons are successful in obtaining a ticket. Groups of less than ten will be seated with other groups, pairs or single persons to a total of ten at each table. If your group exceeds ten, attempt will be made to seat the remainder of the group at an adjacent table. Your table number will be given to you upon check-in but can also be verified using the alphabetic seating chart located outside of the ballroom.
Tickets sales are FINAL except in the case of authorized short-notice deployment on operations.
Military dress is Dress No. 2 (Mess Dress/Formal Highland Dress); equivalent civilian dress is black tie (tuxedo) and long (below the knee) evening gown.
For retired members desiring to wear their Mess Dress to the Ball, authority may be obtained on a case-by-case basis. Please send an email, indicating your retired rank, service number, the year of retirement, and the unit or corps affiliation of the Mess Dress to the Army Ball Sergeant Major, CWO J. Tickets are priced per person at 175 +tax. Each regular individual ticket will include a four-course meal, one complimentary drink, red and white wine with your meal, an Army Ball Commemorative Coin, and access on a first come first serve basis to caricaturists and a photo booth.
Regular ticket sales will commence on Monday February 16, 2026 at 1000 hrs through the on-line web based platform RSVPify. Service and credit card fees will be absorbed in the price of the ticket(s). The taxes are added at checkout. Please note, that as the event is taking place in Gatineau, Québec taxes are being charged.
